Botulinum toxin can be used to relax the muscles that pull down on the corners of the mouth. We use Botox® treatment to lift the corners of your mouth to a youthful and upturned position. We want you to look as happy on the outside as you feel on the inside.
For some, the corners of the mouth can become down-turned and progress into full lower face wrinkles called marionette lines. Marionette lines and lower face wrinkles can eventually result in jowls. When the corners of the mouth are angled downwards it can create a sad appearance, even when you’re happy on the inside.
